Product Spotlight! Indition CRM™ Turn leads into customers! Learn More

For multi-step designs, Indition forms now provides the option to include a progress bar that shows the end user of the form which step they are currently on and how many steps they have remaining before they are able to submit the form.

When a multi-step form is used, if you want to make the process a little more transparent to the end user, you can now include a progress bar. The progress bars are customizable with several different options for look and feel. So for example, if you have a 4 step form, in the progress bar the end user will see that there are four steps to this form regardless of which step the end user is on. The end user will also see which step they are currently on out of the 4 steps.

So if the end user is on step 2 of 4, they will see that they are currently on step 2, they have already completed step 1, and only have 2 remaining steps after step 2.

Progress Bar Benefits:

  1. Transparency to Your Customers - Make it clear how many steps the end user will have to go through so that they don’t think the form is endless and get discouraged from filling out the rest.
  2. Higher Conversion Rates - A multi-step form and a progress bar are a perfect mix of keeping the form appear less intimidating but also keeping your customers aware that there is more than just one step to the form.
  3. Professional Appearance - A nice addition to a multi-step form to make the appearance of your form more professional and customized.
