Work orders, technician dashboards, loaner machines, automated customer notifications, warranty handling, and finance-ready reports — all inside Indition Commerce.
Every status, priority, and disposition is configurable. The flow below is the default — rename stages, add your own, mandate notes on specific transitions, or auto-stop the SLA clock when a job hits a terminal state.
Single-point ticket creation. Capture serial, machine, customer, condition notes, accessories, and photos. SLA clock starts. Customer gets tracking link automatically.
Technician opens the job, starts a timer, records findings. Time is billable by default. Notes can be internal-only or customer-facing.
Flat-rate or itemized estimate. Customer reviews online and approves or declines. Quote locks on approval — price can't drift.
Quote sent to customer. Notification triggered via email or SMS. Deposit gate activates if required. SLA clock can pause here.
Approved. Technician resumes work. Loaner machine issued if needed. Parts orders attach from inventory. Vendor outsourcing supported.
SMS/email sent automatically. SLA clock stops. Loaner return reminder scheduled. Final payment collected and invoice generated.
The dashboard surfaces what needs attention: overdue items, long-running timers, work-in-process, and what's scheduled this week. Search the queue by serial, phone, claim, or name — instant.
Technicians get a streamlined portal designed for how they actually work — start timers, update status, log notes, and clear tickets without wading through admin views.
Build itemized or flat-rate quotes with parts, labour, and fees. Send for customer approval online. Accept payments by card, cash, or secure payment link — all recorded against the work order automatically.
Loaner machines, status updates, overdue notifications — the things that drive customer satisfaction and burn the service writer's afternoon are all automated.
Every part of the repair operation is a first-class module — nothing tacked on, nothing in a different app.

For a single-location shop, most launches take 1–2 weeks. The work that takes the most time is locking down your statuses and priorities — we ship sensible defaults (Intake, Diagnosing, Quote Pending, Awaiting Approval, In Progress, Ready for Pickup) but most shops want to rename a few and add their own dispositions.
Yes. The State Machine Controller lets you define valid transitions, add statuses, rename existing ones, mark a status terminal so the SLA clock stops automatically, or require technician notes on specific transitions (e.g., from In Progress to Awaiting Parts). All admin-level — no code required.
Yes. Set a markup percentage per vendor under Vendors. Any third-party part or subcontracted service from that vendor automatically gets the markup applied when added to the work order. The customer sees a single line item; you keep the margin visible in the back office.
No — unless you want them to. Each status has both an internal technical code (e.g., quote_pending) and a customer-facing label (e.g., "Your quote is ready for review"). Customers only ever see the friendly label in tracking emails, SMS messages, and on their tracking page.
Default priorities are Normal (0%), Rush (+15%), and Emergency (+35%). Setting a priority on a work order applies the surcharge automatically to the quote. You can edit those defaults, add new priorities with their own surcharge percentages and colors, or remove the ones you don't use.
Yes. If you turn on "restrict work to a technician's repair location," a technician can only act on repairs at the location(s) they're mapped to. At another location they can view but not modify. Managers and admins are never gated this way. An optional cross-location labour setting lets a technician log time on a repair at another location while still being blocked from other changes.
Click the status chip and pick an earlier status to re-open it — nothing is lost. A completed repair is locked against accidental edits (no new quote lines, no timers, no loaner check-out), but the full quote, payment history, and audit trail remain visible at all times.
